General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

 

1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of Pilates and yoga classes (online via Zoom or on-site in Zurich) as well as individual art therapy sessions (online & in person) via Alexa Meershoek’s website.

 

2. Provider & Qualification
The provider is Alexa Meershoek, who lives in Zurich, Switzerland. Training certificates and qualifications are clearly displayed on the website (see "Pilates" and "Art Therapy").

3. Services
Pilates/Yoga lessons and art therapy-inspired coaching sessions are provided. Art therapy is conducted in accordance with Swiss professional and training regulations, where applicable.

 

4. Booking & Payment
You can book appointments via email/contact form. Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the website, preferably before the appointment (via Twint or invoice in CHF).

 

5. Appointment cancellation & cancellation
Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations after this time or no-shows will be charged in full.

 

6. Prices & Validity
All prices are in CHF including VAT and are binding and can be viewed on the website. Package offers are personal and non-transferable.

 

7. Health liability
By booking, you confirm that you are medically fit. Please inform us of any restrictions in advance. Art therapy is not a substitute for medical or psychological advice. If you have serious health conditions, please consult a professional.

 

8. Data protection
Personal and session data are treated confidentially and used exclusively for the provision of services. Swiss data protection law applies. Appointments via Zoom are also treated confidentially, but the platform may have security vulnerabilities. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, customers consent to this risk; Zoom is not a secure platform.

 

9. Place of jurisdiction & applicable law
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich (Zurich District Court), regardless of your place of residence or domicile. xn--yoga-zrichberg-lsb.ch

 

10. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
